A little background

Places2stay has been one of Farmore's flagship sites for a good few years now. We originally designed and developed the site to cater for bed and breakfast owners who could sign up to the site and advertise their B&B. Over the years the model has changed slightly with the integration of Late rooms massive hotel catalogue the emphasis of the site switched to Hotels.

What we did

Late Rooms offer their massive database of hotels to affiliates in XML format, we integrated this into Places2stay in a number of ways, Initially by alowing users to seacrh the XML feed for relevant hotels then we display the search results on a Google map, allowing the user to see the exact location of each hotel. We then drill down further into each hotel, showing:price, rating and more descriptive content.
