A little background

Shieldhill Castle is a four star hotel set in the beautiful upper Clyde Valley conveniently between Edinburgh and Glasgow, just 30 minutes from each. Independently owned and run we offer first class conferencing and banqueting facilities alongside our rooms and Chancellor restaurant.

What we did

We worked closely with Shieldhill to convey the classic castle surroundings in their new website. there were a couple of design iterations before we settled on the dark layout. this helped to bring the stunning imagery of the castle into the foreground. The site was built around the excellent Wordpress CMS which will allow the client to update the site with future news and what's on features.
